‘Gu Family Book’ releases first stills of Lee Yoo-Bi as Park Chung Jo

MBC's upcoming Mon-Tue drama 'Gu Family Book' released fist stills of Lee Yoo Bi.

In the drama, actress Lee Yoo-Bi plays Choi Kang Chi's (played by Lee Seung-Gi) first love, Park Chung Jo, a girl who is beautiful and intelligent. Knowing that Kang Chi likes her, she uses that to her advantage when needed.

Lee Yoo-Bi appeared wearing hanbok composed of yellow jeogori and pink skirt for her first shooting held on March 22 in Hadong, Gyeongsangnam-do. She showed off her elegant and modern charms.

The actress seemed nervous on the set at first but immediately began to concentrate portraying Park Chung Jo, the only daughter of a prominent mercantile mogul.

Lee said, "I couldn't sleep at all thinking of the filming. I'm looking forward to my first historical drama. Park Chung Jo is intelligent, beautiful, inquisitive and ambitious. I like this role because I haven't played this kind of character. I'll put my efforts so I hope you enjoy the drama."

'Gu Family Book' premieres on April 8.
