Song Hye Kyo‘s “lipstick act” in ’That Winter‘ captivates viewers

Song Hye Kyo's "lipstick act" in the series, "That Winter, The Wind Blows", is creating a stir.

On the February 13th episode of SBS's Wed-Thur drama series "That Winter, The Wind Blows", Song Hye Kyo's natural portrayal of a visually impaired person has received favorable reviews from the viewers. The scene where she is putting on her lipstick especially attracted attention.

In the series, Song Hye Kyo, as Oh Young, put on her lipstick by herself before leaving home in seek of her brother, Oh Soo (playeed by Jo In Sung). She put on her makeup by touching her lips with one hand and putting the lipstick carefully.

According to the series' writer Noh Hee-Kyung, Song Hye Kyo's lipstick acting was created after Song went to the welfare center to learn the actual makeup of the visually impaired.
