The Korean film 'Berlin' has attracted 5 million viewers in just 14 days after its release.
'Berlin', hit the 5 million mark on February 12, attracting 31,4009 viewers on the day, with a cumulative audience of 503,7301 in just 14 days after its release.
The film has been attracting viewers steadily by reaching 1 million viewers in 3 days, 2 million in 5 days, 3 million in 9 days, 4 million in 12 days and 5 million in 14 days.
An official from CJ Entertainment said, "'Berlin' attracted young audience at the beginning of the release and after the lunar new year holidays, it attracted family audience. Currently, the movie is attracting viewers who are age 40 and older by word of mouth. I expect that the movie will write a new history of Korea's action movie."
Meanwhile, 'Berlin', starring Ha Jung Woo, Han Seok Kyu and Jun Ji Hyun, is an action movie about secret agents aiming for each others to their own purpose in a background of Berlin, the city that cannot return alive.
