Lee Jung-hoo of the San Francisco Giants in Major League Baseball (MLB) delivered hits in two consecutive games.

Lee went 1-for-5 with a double and a run scored in an MLB away game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, on the 16th (KST).

After grounding out to second base in his first plate appearance in the top of the first inning, Lee ripped a double down the right-field line with a runner on first and no outs in the top of the third, with San Francisco leading 3-1. It marked his 30th double of the season, and he subsequently crossed home plate on a follow-up timely hit.

Lee grounded out to second again in the fourth inning, flied out to third in the seventh, and struck out swinging in the eighth.

With Lee's season batting average dipping slightly to .276 (145 hits in 525 at-bats), San Francisco snapped a four-game losing streak with a 10-3 victory.

Meanwhile, Song Sung-mun of the San Diego Padres was brought in to play third base in the bottom of the eighth against the Colorado Rockies but did not get a turn at bat, while Kim Ha-seong of the Atlanta Braves remained on the bench during an away game against the Chicago Cubs.

San Diego suffered a 3-9 defeat against Colorado, while Atlanta beat Chicago 6-3 to snap a two-game skid.
