Turkish Airlines will serve as the official main club partner of English Premier League side Liverpool FC starting June 1, 2027.

Turkish Airlines announced on the 11th that it has entered into a new official partnership with Liverpool FC. Under the agreement, the Turkish Airlines logo will feature on the front of shirts for Liverpool's men's and women's first teams as well as academy squads starting from the 2027/28 season.

This marks Liverpool's first change of front-of-shirt main sponsor in 17 years. Existing main sponsor Standard Chartered will maintain its cooperative ties with Liverpool as a global partner beginning in 2027.

The partnership is designed to broaden cooperation across sports and culture, leveraging the global networks and fan bases built by Turkish Airlines and Liverpool FC respectively.

Turkish Airlines operates an aviation network connecting major cities worldwide through its Istanbul hub, while Liverpool FC commands a strong global following across Europe and beyond. Through the agreement, the two sides plan to expand engagement with global supporters and pursue cross-border sports-driven initiatives.

Ahmet Olmustur, Chief Executive Officer of Turkish Airlines, stated, "Liverpool FC is a world-class football club boasting a rich history and an extensive global fan base. This agreement brings together two global brands sharing Turkish Airlines' core value of connecting people, cultures, and continents."

Ben Latty, Chief Commercial Officer of Liverpool FC, said, "Welcoming Turkish Airlines as our new main club partner marks a major milestone for the club. Building on a relationship that dates back to 2005, we look forward to forging an even closer partnership."

Latty added, "We also express our gratitude for the contributions of Standard Chartered, who shared the club's journey over the past 17 years, and we are delighted to continue our collaboration as global partners from 2027."

Beginning in 2027, Turkish Airlines and Liverpool FC plan to expand touchpoints with global fans and execute sports-based joint projects.
