The 2026 Digital Asset Korea Summit, South Korea's largest blockchain conference showcasing the present and future of the digital asset industry, takes place on July 25 at the COEX Auditorium in Seoul.

Co-hosted by BlockChain Today and Youth Meta, the event is set to gather over 1,500 digital asset industry figures, including traders, developers, investors, and policy and legal experts.

Coming at a crucial time when domestic digital asset regulation is gathering momentum—marked by the enforcement of the Virtual Asset User Protection Act and ongoing debates surrounding the Digital Asset Basic Act—the summit is drawing attention as a landmark venue for evaluating policy developments and market trends.

The summit opens with welcoming remarks by former National Assembly member Kim Hyung-joo and a video congratulatory message from lawmaker Min Byung-duk, followed by Jung Joo-pil, CEO of BlockChain Today, taking the stage to outline the vision for the event.

Keynote addresses on the digital asset landscape

In the first main session, Park Sung-joon, head of the Blockchain Research Center at Dongguk University, addresses the topic "The Future of the Digital Asset Era: Perspectives and Core Competencies to Prepare for New Opportunities." Professor Park analyzes structural industry shifts driven by Web3 and digital finance, outlining key competitive capabilities that corporations and individuals need to develop.

A highlighted morning presentation features Moon Chang-hoon, a Ripple (XRP) analyst and author of Ripple Big Bang, speaking on "Next-Generation Finance and the Utility of XRP." Moon provides an in-depth analysis of Ripple's cross-border payment network, institutional adoption trends, and XRP's role in global financial infrastructure.

The afternoon sessions focus on hands-on investment strategies. Professional trader Gu Bon-wook leads a presentation titled "What If Retail Investors Could Become Market Makers? Practical 10-Minute Profit Challenge," sharing trading strategies and market response tactics tailored for retail investors.

Global markets and Web3 ecosystem dynamics

In the global session, Steve Young Kim, APAC Director of Business Development at Binance, delivers a speech titled "At the Intersection of Traditional and Emerging Tech Finance." He covers key global trends, including institutional entry into digital asset markets, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and the expansion of the digital financial ecosystem.

Vision Chain participates in a special session, while booth keynotes feature major domestic and international blockchain projects introducing their technology and services—including decentralized trading platform Bullbit, hard wallet D'CENT developer IoTrust, decentralized derivatives protocol Variational, FUNS TALK, and WeFi.

Throughout the venue's booth area, networking programs allow attendees to meet project representatives directly, test technologies, and explore investment or collaborative opportunities.

Policy, investment, and networking under one roof

The organizers highlight three core strengths of this year's summit: expert lectures on domestic and international digital asset regulations and policies, large-scale crypto networking involving over 1,500 participants, and investment and partnership opportunities generated through project booths and interactive events.

Bullbit, Variational, and FUNS TALK serve as premium sponsors, while WeFi, IoTrust, Short Challenge, and Vision Chain participate as official sponsors. Tiger Research and Block Media serve as event partners, handling industry insights and event coverage.

Mapping out the future of digital financial innovation

Tickets are available exclusively through the official website, with attendance managed on a 100 percent advance-registration basis; on-site purchases are not permitted. The venue at COEX Auditorium is a five-minute walk from Exits 5 and 6 of Samseong Station on Seoul Subway Line 2, with public transportation strongly recommended due to expected traffic congestion.

Held amid accelerating inflows of global institutional capital following spot Bitcoin ETF approvals, alongside active domestic discussions on Korean Won-denominated stablecoins, security token offerings (STOs), and RWA tokenization, the summit serves as a comprehensive platform bringing together policy, industry insights, and investment strategy.

Industry insiders expect the summit to serve as a key milestone for gauging market trends and institutional integration through the second half of 2026.
