Practice-Oriented Education Underpins Interview-Free Admissions Focused on Academic Performance

Jeonju Vision University announced that it will accept applications for its 2026 regular admissions cycle from December 29, 2025, through January 14, 2026. The upcoming admissions round will select students across all academic departments through a document-based screening process, with no interviews required.

Admission results are scheduled to be announced on January 28, 2026, and successful applicants will be required to complete enrollment between February 3 and February 5.

While the overall selection process is largely uniform, evaluation criteria vary slightly by department. Applicants to the College of Nursing will be assessed based on a weighted combination of academic coursework (60 percent) and scores from the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) (40 percent). All other departments will base admissions decisions solely on applicants’ academic records. The university explained that the approach is designed to emphasize academic achievement while ensuring strong alignment between students and their chosen fields of study.

Jeonju Vision University is a leading junior college in South Korea’s North Jeolla Province, widely recognized for its practice-oriented education closely aligned with industry needs. Through hands-on curricula developed in collaboration with local and national industries, the university has consistently worked to strengthen students’ professional competencies and employability.

Supported by a range of government-funded initiatives and industry–academia cooperation programs, the university continues to enhance its experiential learning environment. It also provides systematic support spanning career planning, internships, and job placement, helping students transition smoothly from education to employment.

In addition, Jeonju Vision University operates an extensive scholarship system—both on and off campus—to reduce students’ financial burden. The institution has also cultivated an inclusive learning environment that accommodates international students, adult learners, and other non-traditional students. Flexible academic policies tailored to diverse educational goals and life circumstances are cited as another key strength of the university.

“Jeonju Vision University has grown alongside regional industries through its strong emphasis on practical education and employment linkage,” said Park Kyung-min, Director of Admissions and Public Relations at Jeonju Vision University. “We hope this regular admissions cycle will offer meaningful opportunities for students seeking an education that truly aligns with their aptitudes and career aspirations.”
