Jeonju Vision University (President Woo Byung-hoon) announced that it will begin accepting applications for the first round of early admissions for the 2026 academic year from Monday, September 8, through Tuesday, September 30. The admissions period will follow the same nationwide schedule as all other Korean junior colleges.

The university has consistently maintained high employment rates, firmly supporting students’ career development. Currently, more than 800 international students from 16 countries are enrolled, and the institution has established itself as a globalized campus offering diverse educational opportunities to strengthen students’ global competencies. In particular, Jeonju Vision University has secured multiple government-funded projects, including the Regional Innovation Support System (RISE), the Geospatial Information Specialization Project, and the Eco-Up Advanced Convergence University Program, demonstrating its strong educational competitiveness.

The campus is also equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and lecture halls, providing an excellent learning environment at the heart of the Jeonju region. In addition, various scholarship programs and professional certification support initiatives are in place to help students succeed both academically and in their career preparation.

As part of this year’s admissions, the Department of Land and Civil Engineering has been renamed the Department of Land Information and Construction, which will welcome new students under the revised title. Furthermore, two new programs—the Department of Social Welfare Services for adult learners and the Department of Sports Management—have been newly established, expanding educational options for applicants.

Admissions will primarily be based on applicants’ academic records, with some departments requiring an interview. Interviews are scheduled for Saturday, October 18, and successful candidates will be announced on Wednesday, October 29. Applications can be submitted online through the Jeonju Vision University admissions website (https://iphak.jvision.ac.kr/main/). Further details are available on the website or by phone at +82-63-220-4000.
