Samsung Electronics announced on July 28 that it has signed a semiconductor foundry contract worth 22.76 trillion won (approximately $16.4 billion) with a global client.

The contract, disclosed in a regulatory filing, runs from July 24, 2025, to December 31, 2033, and represents 7.6% of the company’s total revenue. Samsung said it would keep the name of the client and details of the manufacturing process confidential until 2033 for business reasons.
