BABYMONSTER is set to release the dance practice video for their latest single Hot Sauce at midnight on July 4, showcasing choreography not seen in the official music video.

YG Entertainment shared the announcement through a teaser poster posted on its official blog on July 3, stating the video will reveal "a performance that couldn’t be fully captured on stage."

This marks the group’s first dance practice video in about a year and a half since their pre-debut single Batter Up. The video will present the full choreography of Hot Sauce, featuring energetic movements using arm gestures and playful expressions symbolizing spiciness.

“This was a deliberate choice to show a side of BABYMONSTER that didn’t make it into the music video,” said YG.

Hot Sauce is a dance track that reinterprets the spirit of 1980s old-school hip-hop in BABYMONSTER’s signature style. The song blends bright vocals, fast-paced rapping, bouncy brass sounds, and rhythmic drums, earning praise for its addictive energy. The music video quickly topped YouTube’s global “Most Viewed in 24 Hours” chart upon release.

BABYMONSTER will kick off music show appearances this week and is scheduled to release a second pre-release single in September followed by their mini-album in October. In August, they’ll perform at Japan’s Summer Sonic music festival before embarking on a seven-city North American tour.
