“Squid Game 3” has once again captivated Netflix audiences worldwide, topping the global charts just three days after its release.

According to Netflix’s official site Tudum on July 2, the third and final season of the Korean megahit logged 368.4 million hours of viewing time from June 27 to 29. Given the season’s total runtime of 6 hours and 8 minutes, this translates to approximately 60.1 million full viewings. In just three days, it ranked No. 1 in all 93 countries where Netflix compiles top 10 lists, marking the highest global performance across all content, both English and non-English.

“Squid Game 3” dominated the non-English TV category and outperformed every title in English-language TV and film categories as well. However, in terms of opening-week viewership, it fell slightly short of “Squid Game” Season 2, which recorded 68 million views in its debut week. The Season 3 figure ranks third all-time for Netflix’s weekly viewership, following Season 1’s second week (69.8 million views) and Season 2’s first week (60.8 million views).

The release of the final season also boosted viewership for the previous two. Season 2, released in December last year, climbed back to No. 3 on the non-English TV chart last week with 2.8 million views, while Season 1 returned to No. 6 with 1.7 million views.

Season 1 of “Squid Game,” released in 2021, remains Netflix’s most-watched title of all time by both viewing hours and total views over a 91-day measurement window, cementing the global status of K-content.
