2NE1 to perform halftime show at Tottenham vs. Newcastle match

K-pop girl group 2NE1 will headline the halftime show during the upcoming Coupang Play Series match between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

 

Coupang Play announced on June 30 that 2NE1 will take the stage on August 3 at Seoul World Cup Stadium in Mapo District, Seoul, during the halftime of the highly anticipated match, which kicks off at 8 p.m.

 

2NE1 is a four-member group composed of CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park, and Gong Minzy.

 

“We’re thrilled to be part of an event that brings together world-class players and fans,” the group said in a statement. “As fans of Son Heung-min, it’s especially meaningful to be performing at a match he’s involved in.”

 

Ticket reservations for the match will open at 8 p.m. on July 4, exclusively for Coupang Wow members.
