ZEROBASEONE has cemented its position at the center of the K-pop scene with remarkable achievements in the first half of 2025, expanding its reach into the world’s two largest music markets—the United States and Japan.

With the release of their fifth mini album BLUE PARADISE in February, the group became the first K-pop act to score five consecutive million-seller albums starting from their debut. The album sold over 1.2 million copies in its first week alone.

BLUE PARADISE topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 17 regions worldwide, and all its tracks entered both the Melon Top 100 and Hot 100 charts, showcasing a strong balance between mass appeal and fandom power. The title track “BLUE” also claimed four music show trophies.

Their global impact was equally striking. The album debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard 200, the highest ranking for any fifth-generation K-pop artist to date. ZEROBASEONE remained on various Billboard sub-charts for 11 consecutive weeks.

In Japan, the group’s January release PRESENT topped the Oricon Weekly Album Chart, Weekly Combined Albums Chart, and Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales. It ranked No. 4 in Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales for the first half of 2025 and achieved the third-highest first-week sales among foreign artists. The group was also named Best New Asian Artist at the Japan Gold Disc Awards.

ZEROBASEONE’s domestic awards haul reflects their growing influence, winning nine major trophies including a Bonsang at the 39th Golden Disc Awards, Artist of the Year at the 32nd Hanteo Music Awards, three wins at the 1st The Awards, and both a Bonsang and Best Album at the 34th Seoul Music Awards.

Beyond music, the members have expanded their presence into OSTs, variety shows, hosting gigs, magazine shoots, and brand ambassadorships. With strong demand from the advertising and fashion industries, the group is now preparing for a world tour in the second half of the year.
