Actors Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won are tying the knot after seven years of dating.

Lee’s agency, Hunus Entertainment, announced on June 22 that the couple will hold their wedding ceremony on November 23. The two first met while filming the KBS2 weekend drama My Only One in 2018 and confirmed their relationship publicly in 2023.

Lee has frequently spoken about his marriage plans on television. After winning Best Excellence Award at the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards, he remarked, “I think I’ll need to postpone the wedding a bit,” expressing his desire to continue appearing on I Live Alone. He also made heartfelt remarks about his fiancée and their families during the broadcast.

In a December 2023 episode of Lee Jang-woo’s Countryside Diary, he shared, “I’m planning to get married this year,” recalling his father’s words: “In the end, all that’s left is family,” and expressing hopes of starting one of his own.

Lee has been a popular figure on MBC’s I Live Alone, known for his chemistry with Park Na-rae and Jun Hyun-moo as part of the “Palm Oil Line.” At the end of the June 20 episode, a preview showed the trio on a trip to Türkiye, where Lee gave his final remarks on the show.

“This may be my last appearance with Palm Oil,” he said, reading a letter he wrote to his co-stars. “It’s sad and bittersweet, but thank you for all the love and support.” He then asked, “Please come to the wedding and just say, ‘Lee Jang-woo turned out well.’” Both Park and Jun were visibly moved as they listened.
