Singer G-Dragon has pledged to donate 880 million won to support the treatment of adolescent alcohol addiction.

On June 13, Galaxy Corporation announced that G-Dragon will make the donation to the Just Peace Foundation, where he serves as honorary chairperson, during the “Peaceminusone Premium Highball Launch Party – The Signal” held at the Grand Hyatt Seoul.

The donation amount of 880 million won reflects the symbolic meaning of the number 8, representing infinity (∞). Born in 1988, G-Dragon has long cited 8 as his favorite number.

The event commemorated the launch of a highball featuring artwork personally created by G-Dragon. The design conveys the message, “It’s okay to be imperfect just as you are.”

Meanwhile, the “Peaceminusone Red Highball,” a second collaborative product between G-Dragon’s fashion brand Peaceminusone and convenience store chain CU, continues to sell out daily.

The highball is sold in limited quantities of 8,888 cans per day and has drawn massive attention since its launch on April 30. Within just three weeks, 5 million cans had been sold.
