SHINee’s Onew to return with ‘Percent’ on July 15

Onew of SHINee will make his comeback on July 15 with his second full-length album Percent, showcasing his growth as both an artist and producer.

His agency, Griffin Entertainment, announced on June 13 that Onew participated in producing every track on the album. “He prepared this album to share his personal story as both an artist and producer. We ask for your support and interest,” the agency stated.

Percent marks his first studio album in two years and four months since Circle in March 2023, and follows his fourth mini-album Connection, which was released in January.

To tease the upcoming release, Onew recently revealed a mysterious image featuring a green crescent moon in a pitch-black sky. On the same day, he dropped an album trailer titled G on his official YouTube channel. The video features a symbolic scene where Onew stands face-to-face with a mouse, suggesting a surreal synchronization between the two and sparking fan speculation.

Onew’s new album Percent will be released on major music streaming platforms at 6 p.m. on July 15.
