BTS member J-Hope is releasing his new digital single Killin’ It Girl on June 13 at 1 p.m., capping off his solo single project with a bold, high-energy track.
Following Sweet Dreams and MONA LISA, both released earlier this year, Killin’ It Girl marks his third solo release of 2025. “I’m very excited to finally release the last track,” J-Hope said. “I’ve prepared a powerful song and performance, and I hope fans will enjoy it.”
Rooted in hip-hop, Killin’ It Girl features lyrics that candidly express the thrill of falling for someone at first sight. “It’s a song that’s satisfying to listen to,” J-Hope explained, adding that the addictive chorus stands out as a highlight.
J-Hope, who took part in the songwriting process, also shared a behind-the-scenes anecdote. “While working on the track, the sound of glasses clinking accidentally made it into the session, and the producer decided to use it. It left a strong impression,” he said. “After confirming a key that suited my voice, we layered in a guitar loop, and right then I knew—‘this is a J-Hope song.’”
The performance is also set to impress, featuring bold, sensual moves, technically demanding choreography, and fluid motion to elevate the stage presence.
The new single will debut live at the J-Hope Tour: HOPE ON THE STREET FINAL encore concert, taking place June 13–14 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Gyeonggi Province.
Reflecting on his journey, J-Hope said, “I was only able to keep this solo project going because of the constant support from fans. I sincerely thank you all.”
