BTS members RM (Kim Nam-joon) and V (Kim Tae-hyung) have officially completed their mandatory military service as of June 10. With the rest of the group also nearing discharge this month, anticipation is building for a full-group comeback.
RM and V are scheduled to complete their discharge procedures near Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, on the morning of June 10. RM served in the 15th Infantry Division’s military band, while V was part of the special mission unit under the Army’s 2nd Corps military police.
The eldest member Jin (Kim Seok-jin) and J-Hope have already been discharged and are currently pursuing solo projects. Jimin and Jungkook are slated for discharge on June 11, while Suga (Min Yoon-gi), who has been serving as a public service worker, is expected to complete his service on June 21.
To celebrate the members’ return, BigHit Music has decorated the outer wall of its headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul, with the BTS ARMY logo and the phrase “WE ARE BACK.” The display will remain in place from June 13 through June 29, in conjunction with the group’s 12th debut anniversary.
The official anniversary event, titled “2025 BTS,” will take place on June 13–14 at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Meanwhile, J-Hope is also set to hold the final stop of his concert tour, j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' FINAL, at Goyang Sports Complex on June 13–14. Fans are excited by the possibility that recently discharged members may make surprise appearances on stage.
