SEVENTEEN’s fifth studio album Happy Burstday has debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the main U.S. albums chart, marking another milestone for the male K-pop group.

According to a preview article released on June 8 (local time), Happy Burstday landed at No. 2 behind Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, which has remained at No. 1 for three consecutive weeks. This is SEVENTEEN’s seventh album to break into the Billboard 200 top 10.

The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on album units, which combine traditional album sales, streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and track equivalent albums (TEA). Happy Burstday recorded 48,500 album units in total.

Of those, physical album sales accounted for 46,000 units, topping the Top Album Sales chart. SEA contributed 2,500 units, while TEA was minimal.

Billboard noted that “14 versions of the CD, each randomly packaged with various collectibles, had a positive impact on album sales.”
