Netflix unveiled the main poster for Squid Game Season 3 on May 23, offering fans a chilling glimpse of what to expect in the final installment of the global hit series.
Front and center in the newly released image is Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae), wearing a resolute expression as he stands at the forefront of the game's deadly arena once again. Surrounding him are new and returning players—Myung-gi (Im Si-wan), Dae-ho (Kang Ha-neul), Hyun-joo (Park Sung-hoon), Yong-sik (Yang Dong-geun), Geum-ja (Kang Ae-shim), Joon-hee (Jo Yu-ri), and Seonnyeo (Chae Gook-hee)—each captured in moments of wary anticipation.
The background reveals the show’s signature contrast of childlike innocence and psychological horror: a new game arena enclosed by walls covered in countless stars, seemingly painted by a child. The vibrant imagery evokes childhood nostalgia while underscoring the twisted nature of the games.
In one particularly striking visual, characters Yong-sik, Geum-ja, and Seonnyeo are seen teetering on the edge of a precarious ledge—visually paired with the tagline, “The final game for 45.6 billion won.” The combination raises curiosity about the unimaginable challenges awaiting players in the climactic season.
Season 3 will follow Gi-hun as he reenters the game with his own agenda, only to suffer a devastating personal loss. The return of the enigmatic Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who conceals his identity within the brutal arena, and the fates of the few surviving participants, form the emotional and suspenseful core of this finale.
Squid Game Season 3 is set to premiere on June 27.
