IU to release “Flower Bookmark 3” on May 27

Multi-talented entertainer IU is set to return to music with the release of her third remake album Flower Bookmark 3, her agency EDAM Entertainment announced on May 15.

The album, scheduled for release at 6 p.m. on May 27, marks the third installment in IU’s remake project, in which she reinterprets beloved classics from the Korean music canon. The series began with Flower Bookmark in 2014 and was followed by Flower Bookmark 2 in 2017.

In previous albums, IU received acclaim for her fresh renditions of iconic songs such as Cho Duk-bae’s “My Old Story” and Sanulrim’s “Meaning of You” from the first volume, as well as Yang Hee-eun’s “Autumn Morning” and Sobangcha’s “Last Night Story” from the second.

The tracklist for Flower Bookmark 3 will be revealed at a later date.
