Singer and actor Rain has become the new face of Yves Saint Laurent., a representative cosmetics brand of multinational company L'Oreal Group, in Chinese specking countries.

According to Cube Entertainment on the 17th, Rain has become the new model of 'YSL Dangerous Rouge', one of the bestsellers of Yves Saint Laurent, for his appealing lips.

Rain is chosen as a male model of Yves Saint Laurent for his intense image that appeals to female fans and his remarkable activities across Chinese speaking regions as a hallyu wave icon.

Rain has been also showing off his masculine charms through his successful concerts as well as movies and dramas.

A YSL rep said, "This year's YSL Danger Red has a concept of passion, temptation, love, and desire. Rain's strong yet gentle image perfectly fit in with the concept. Also, Rain has been recognized for his charismatic performance and excellent acting skills. He is a long lasting global star active in various fields, so we chose him as YSL's new model."

Meanwhile, Rain is currently filming Chinese drama 'DIAMOND LOVER' along with Chinese actress Tang Yan.
