Rock legend Shin Hae-chul passes away

Legendary rock singer Shin Hae-chul has passed away on October 27 at 8:19 PM after suffering from cardiac arrest and undergoing a heart surgery. Shin Hae-chul passed away at the young age of 46.


Shin Hae-chul was taken into Seoul Asan Hospital in Pungnap-dong after suffering from a heart attack and receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on October 22.


It was revealed that doctors performed a surgery to determine the cause of Shin Hae-chul's heart problem.


Shin Hae-chul made his debut in 1988 at MBC's 'College Music Festival' as a band vocal. He has been known as a solo artist as well as a band member of N.EX.T. His popular songs include "Do Not Cry", "Jazz Café', and "A Doll's Knight".
