Seo Taiji made a surprise appearance on Superstar K6 and wished for the recovery of rock singer Shin Hae-chul.

On the October 24th episode of Mnet's 'Superstar K6', Seo Taiji made a surprise guest appearance to encourage all the top 8 contestants, Kwak Ji-eon, Kim Feel, MICA, Buster Lead, Song Yoo-bin, Lee Joon-hee, Im Do-hyuk and Jang Woo-ram.
 
The theme of this episode was dubbed the 'Seo Taiji Mission', in which each participant was asked to select and remake their version of their favorite song of Seo Taiji.

Seo Taiji showed up when all the contestants had a combined performance of Seo Taiji and Boys' 'The Last Festival', surprising all the participants.

He said, "I heard that the participants were going to sing my songs today, so I came here to encourage them. The performances were touching."

Seo Taiji also wished for Shin Hae-chul's recovery, saying, "Shin Hae-chul hyung is very sick. I believe he will get over it soon if you guys who are watching this show wish for his recovery."

Meanwhile, Shin Hae-chul remains unconscious following emergency surgery due to a massive heart attack on October 22.
