Singer IU left a message after winning on Inkigayo with 'Sogyeokdong'.

On October 21, IU revealed her thoughts on winning on a music show with 'Sogyeokdong', a collaboration with legendary singer Seo Taiji, through her official fan café.

IU said, "Strictly speaking, Sogyeokdong is Seo Taiji sunbaenim's song, but since my name is next to his name, I'm so happy to hear that the song won the first place."

She continued, "Congratulations to me and Seo Taiji sunbaenim. No, congratulations to you more. No, congratulations to me more. I jumped with joy to hear the news at Changwon."

IU added, "Sogyeokdong is meaningful in many ways, and it will be a thankful memory. I'm so lucky this year. But there are still more fun things to come. It's definitely weird."

Previously, Seo Taiji thanked IU at a press conference held on October 20, saying, "Actually, I have benefited from IU and I even would carry her on my back. Thanks to IU, I was able to get attention from the teenagers as well. Her voice is a treasure." 

Meanwhile, IU and Seo Taiji's Sogyeokdong won the first place on SBS' Inkigayo on October 19.
