Taeyeon sheds tears at fan signing event

While Jessica made an official statement, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon drew attention as she shed tears at a fan signing event.

On October 1, TaeTiSeo's Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun held a private fan signing event at a department store in Cheongryang-ri, Seoul.

During the event, Taeyeon shed tears and said, "From the beginning, all we wanted to do was protect Girls' Generation. We are sorry. Please believe in us once more." Tiffany and Seohyun also shed tears as Taeyeon addressed the fans.

Meanwhile, Jessica released a statement claiming that she was forced out of Girls' Generation by SM Entertainment on September 29.

"I had received agreement and permission from SM, and congratulations from the members when I was launching my business. However, in early September, after only a month since the launching, the members suddenly changed their position and held a meeting. Then they told me to either quit my business or leave Girls' Generation without any justifiable reason."
