Kim Soo-hyun wins grand prize at Korea Drama Awards

Actor Kim Soo-hyun won the Grand Prize at the 2014 Korea Drama Awards.


On October 1, Kim Soo-hyun won the Grand Prize for his performance in SBS drama 'Man from the Star' at the 2014 Korea Drama Awards ceremony held at Gyeongnam Culture and Art Center hosted by entertainer Oh Sang-jin and actress Kang So-ra. Kim Soo-hyun also won the Hallyu Hot Star award, taking home two awards.


'Man from the Star' proved to be the best drama by taking five awards, including the Best Drama award, the Best New Actor award (Ahn Jae-hyun), and the Hot Star award (Shin Sung-rok).


The Male Top Excellence Award went to Kim Jae-joong of MBC's 'Triangle', and the Female Top Excellence Award went to Oh Yeon-seo of MBC's 'Jang Bo Ri is Here!'.


Actor Lee Kwang-soo of SBS' 'It's Okay, It's Love' won the Male Excellence Award, while Kang So-ra of SBS' 'Doctor Stranger' won the Female Excellence Award.
