Seo Taiji to collaborate with IU for ‘Sogyeokdong Project’

Seo Taiji and IU will be collaborating for a new type of collaboration 'Sogyeokdong Project'.

On September 29, Seo Taiji Company said, "As Seo Taiji was planning the 9th album, he thought of a new type of collaboration so-called 'Sogyeokdong Project', which tells the story of a sad and beautiful story in Sogyeokdong during the 1980s from two different viewpoints through two songs and two music videos."

Seo Taiji said through his agency, "When I was looking for a female single who could express the song Sogyeokdong, IU came to my mind immediately and I asked her for collaboration. I'm so happy that she turned on the charm of the song more than I expected."

'Sogyeokdong Project' will be a project where another singer will sing a song written, composed, and produced by Seo Taiji.

IU's agency said, "IU was very happy to accept Seo Taiji's offer and was willing to collaborate."

Meanwhile, Seo Taiji will be releasing his 9th studio album 'Quiet Night' on October 20.
