‘My Love from the Star’ to be remade by American broadcasting company

Kim Soo-hyun and Jun Ji-hyu starring drama 'My Love from the Star' (also known as 'Man from the Stars') has confirmed to make an American version.

On September 19, HB Entertainment stated, "We have been preparing for the US remake of the drama since February, and we are thankful to remake the Korean drama with good partners. We will do our best to make the drama into series with the American drama production company."

Writers Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain, who wrote 'The Shield', 'Angel', 'The Vampire Diaries', and 'Lie to M will be working on the drama.

HB Entertainment has recently accepted a pilot order from ABC for the remake and is currently discussing further details with Sony Pictures, the production company of the American version. The original writer of the drama Park Ji-eun will be participating as an executive producer alongside HB Entertainment's Moon Bo-mi.
