Won Ki-joon talks about the famous ‘kimchi slap’ scene

Actor Won Ki-joon talked about behind-the scene story of the 'kimchi slap' from drama 'Everybody, Kimchi."

On the September 10th episode of MBC's 'Radio Star', actors Won Ki-joon, Go Se-won, Lee Kyu-han, and Oh Chang-suk appeared as guests.

During the show, Won Ki-joon talked about the famous 'kimchi slap' scene from MBC's 'Everybody, Kimchi'.

He said, "The kimchi was 3 months old. Imagine how spoiled it was. Lee Hyo-choon soaked it in a lot of kimchi juice before hitting me with it. When I asked her why it took her so long, she said she wanted to make the slap good."

About the 'kimchi slap' scene, the actor said, "I felt awful. The chili powder went into my eyes, nose, and ears, so I suffered from a headache all night long."
