Kim Hyun-joong to hold concert in Thailand despite assault controversy

Singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong, who has been charged for alleged assault, will hold a concert in Thailand as scheduled.


On August 22, an official from Kim's agency KeyEast said, "We will make an official statement on this matter after learning more details about the case. We will hold the concert in Bangkok on the 24th as scheduled."


"It is difficult for us to cancel the concert due to terms and conditions with local agencies," said the official.


A media outlet reported earlier on Friday that Kim Hyun-joong's alleged girlfriend pressed assault charges against the singer for repeatedly using violence against her.
