Ballad Queen Baek Ji Young was selected as a main judge of the ‘Super Star K6.’ As for this, ‘Super Star K6’ will have 4 main judges for the very first time.  

On 15, Rep. of Mnet stated “ Baek Ji Young will join the ‘Super Star K 6’ as the main judge. We completed perfect line up for the judges; Lee Seung Chul, Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Bum Soo, and Baek Ji Young”  

Baek Ji Young has been reviewed as the best ballad singer in terms of appealing, soothing and unique voice. Previously she had participated in the show as a special judge showing sincere judgment and she appeared on the vocal survival show as a coach to prove her capability as a mentor.   

One of the major reasons why Baek Ji Young decided to appear on the show as a judge is she has moved by a unique energy that the show has created. Baek Ji Young said “I just love the way ‘Super Star K’ is. It is raw and fresh energy that cannot be expressed in words. I will become a mentor that cuts and polishes rough stones while helping the participants to find their characters and maximize their strengths.” 

Also she asked for the viewers that “I will judge with all of my heart to make the show the best season ever that the new rookies will give people comforts. I hope this season will meet the expectation of the people. Please engage actively in the show since the real judges are you people even though we make judge at the stage.”   

The crew of ‘Super Star K6’ stated “Baek Ji Young is the best diva in Korea who has strong voice and outstanding performances and she also is capable to take care of the participants with her humanity. As a female judge, she is more than enough so we decided to choose her as a judge. We believe that she will develop the challengers ‘capabilities and characters.”  

Baek Ji Young will appear on the special stage for celebrating to join the show as a judge at the Super Star K6, which will be taking place in Seoul Jamshil Indoor Stadium on the coming 15.  

Meanwhile, ‘Super Star K6’ will air on the 22 at 11 pm.
