A singer and an actor Suh In Guk has risen as one of the hottest guy ever in 2014.  

He made a debut as the winner of Mnet ‘Super Star K 1’ in 2009 and since after that he has also debut as an actor and kept strong stance while appearing on various dramas and films. Recently, he once again is at the peak of popularity.   

After starred in tvN Monday-Tuesday drama ‘High School King’(script by Yang Hee Seung and Jo Sung Hee, Produced by Yoo Je Won), he is now poised to become the big star. Suh played a double role for the first time in his life; thoughtless high school student Lee Min Suk and his brother Lee Hyung Suk.  

‘High School King’ is about a double life of Min Suk, a high school student, who has become to work for a major company instead of his older brother. It has been criticized that the setting is unrealistic and hard to sympathize. Due to his outstanding performance, however, it has received rating of 2 percent (Nilson Korea), which gained popularity as like other dramas of major broadcasting companies. 

In the drama, he played a man who’s loved by other people without flattery or worldly wisdom but with his inborn characteristics and charming. Sometimes he seems to be very childish but when he is with his lover he turns into a man of the man who can give his shoulder to her, making female audiences’ hearts beat. With outstanding performances in the drama, he surely has been poised to become the big star.      

His recent popularity can be proved by casting calls from everywhere. He has shown sound performances at the previous starred dramas, ‘Reply 1997,’ and ‘ Master’s Sun.’ As soon as the drama ‘ High School King’ finished, he has risen as the first star to cast. According to the Rep. of Sub, he has not decided what he will play for the next, but is considering several works for now.      

Advertising world now is eager to cast Suh In Guk. He has already made contracts with clothing, bakery, and mobile game companies and several other companies now are trying to catch him. Since casting to commercial is known as a barometer of popularity in Korea, which we can see how popular he is now.   

Not only from Korea but also from overseas countries he has become a sensation. Suh has held ‘Suh In Guk Fan Meeting 2014 IMPACT’ in Tokyo, Japan on 10 and now is considering to hold fan meetings in other Asia countries, including Thailand. He will appear on the ‘Superstar K6 All Star Concert’ held in Jamshil Indoor Stadium to show off his talents as a singer.
