‘It’s Okay That’s Love’ Lee Kwang Soo “ I have researched a lot on tourette syndrome”

An actor Lee Kwang Soo addressed his thought on Tourette syndrome acting.  


The press conference for SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘It’s Okay That’s Love,’ (Script by Noh Hee Kyung, Produced by Kim Kyu Tae) was held in a café at Seokoydong Seoul on the 6th. Jo In Sung, Kong Hyo Jin and Lee Kwang Soo were attending at the conference.     


Lee Kwang Soo said “I’ve been worried and it was bit burdensome, however, I’ve researched and studied about the character so that I can act with sincerity.” 


Added to this, saying “I think many viewers especially the ones who have children might worry that the acting makes caricature of the Tourette syndrome. In fact, I thought that’s because I am the one who plays Soo Kwang in the drama.” 


He explained “As for this, I have tried so hard, looked up for the syndrome, and talk a lot with the director, script writer and the cast for the shoot. I hope thought the acting that I do can give hopes to people who have the syndrome, or parents who have children suffering from the syndrome. I will do my best so that I can play with more sincerity.”  


‘It’s Okay That’s Love,’ is a romantic drama that depict love story of Jae Yeol(Jo In Sung) who is perfectly handsome and eloquent detective story writer and Hae Su(Kong Hyo Jin) who seems to be very chic but a warm-hearted psychiatrist. It airs on every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 pm.
