Kang Ji-hwan responds to controversial photo of woman on bed with him

Actor Kang Ji-hwan responded to the controvery surrounding photos of himself laying in bed with a foreign woman.


Recently, photos of actor Kang Ji-hwan laying in bed with a Philippines woman were revealed through an online community board. The woman posted the photos on her Facebook with the caption, "together sleep with Korean actor Mr. Jihwang-Kang."


On July 11, a representatie of Kang Ji-hwan told AsiaToday, "The photos were taken for fun, and we are bewildered that the photos caused a scandal. The woman in the photos is his guide's wife."


The rep added, "When Kang Ji-hwan was sleeping, his guide's wife took the photos for fun. She didn't know it would stir a controversy and apologized to us after the scandal."


Meanwhile, Kang Ji-hwan is taking a break after finishing KBS2TV's drama 'Big Man'. He visited Philippines for a photo shoot.
