2NE1 Park Bom‘s age being questioned

While 2NE1 member Park Bom has been revealed have tried to smuggle drugs into Korea four years ago, her age is now being questioned.

Recently, YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun-suk revealed that Park Bom was treated in hospital and took medicine after witnessing her friend's death while she was active as a football player when she was in high school in the U.S..

Since then, an American newspaper article was posted on many online community boards with the title, "Young football player's death. " From the article, netizens pointed out that Jenny Park (reportedly Park Bom's name used in U.S.) is listed as a sophomore in the year of 1998.

In addition, netizens found a video of Park Bom filmed in 2007 when she was a trainee. The video mentioned that Park Bom was age 25.
