Girls' Generation's Sunny has blamed herself and made an apology regarding her recent radio episode where Simon D appeared as a guest and made inappropriate remarks.

On the June 11th airing of Sunny's radio program 'Sunny's FM Date', Simon D appeared as a guest in the corner entitled 'The Technique for Love' and was embroiled in controversy due to his sexual remarks and informal speech.

In the broadcast while everyone was discussing whether love can only expressed through the heart, Simon D commented, "Expressing through the heart is also a kind of technique. Using your body could be another kind of technique. Is this too r-rated?"

Sunny said, "I think you don't have a technique." Simon D responded informally, "It's not that. I'm here to hit on you."

In another part of the broadcast, when Sunny asked him to answer the question, Simon D jokingly said, "I'm not good at getting the right answer. Something weird may come out. You will regret that you invited me today." Sunny responded, "I think you can do it by instinct." Simon D kept joking, saying, "Something instinct is r-rated."

Sunny tried to handle the situation saying, "You can't do it. There are young listeners, too." But Simon D said, "They already know what I'm saying. Why did you invite me if you were going to act like this?"

As listeners criticized the airing, Sunny addressed this issue at the press call for her musical 'Singin' In the Rain' on June 12, saying, "I think I lack of competence as a DJ."

She said, "It's been only a month since I've been on the radio, so I think my incompetence is to blame. I will work harder so that no matter who comes in as a guest or whatever corner is going on, I'll make it so that people can listen without discomfort."
