Girls' Generation's Sunny will become the new DJ for MBC FM4U's "FM Date".

On May 5, MBC radio revealed, "Sunny will be the new DJ for 'FM Date' starting from May 12. She will give warm comfort to you on your way home from work."

Sunny has radio experience as a permanent guest on 'ShimShimTaPa' and also as a co-DJ with Super Junior's Sungmin for nine months.

Sunny said, "I listened to a lot of radio when I was little due to my older sisters' influence. I listen to the radio a lot even now when I'm in the car. I didn't have much chance to communicate with the public, but I'm really happy and excited because I got chance. I'm going to do my best to become a DJ that share stories many listeners can connect to."

The staff said, "You will be able to see a new side of Sunny that's friendly and easygoing unlike what you see on stage."

Comedian Ahn Young-mi will join the show as a permanent guest, and actor Park Geun-hyung, who appeared in 'Grandpas Over Flowers' has also promised to appear.

The first broadcast is set to air on May 12 at 8 PM.
