Actor Lee Seung-gi revealed the reason for choosing SBS's upcoming Wed-Thu drama "You're All Surrounded".

At the press conference held on April 30, Lee Seung-gi said, "When I read the scenario, I could feel the power of the character of Eun Dae-goo. I thought I could show a new side that I've never shown before."

He added, "This is my sixth drama and I wanted to try this character at least once. Actually, writer Kang Eun-kyung who I worked with for 'Gu Family Book', strongly recommended producer Yoo In-sik saying that he is a genius producer. I decided to appear in the drama because I liked PD Yoo's production ability and writer's heart-warming story."

Lee Seung-gi will play the role of Eun Dae-goo, a good-looking rookie police officer who curses a lot and has an IQ of 150.

PD Yoo In-sik said, "Lee Seung-gi has an image of 'UmChinAh' ('Someone who is fine looking, incredibly smart and good background' in Korean). This time, he will play a tough guy with manly and sharp side."

Meanwhile, "You're All Surrounded" will air on May 7.
