SBS suspends weekend dramas and variety shows

SBS will continue to suspend its dramas and variety shows, which will be replaced with news specials throughout the weekend.


On April 19, SBS stated, "In order to fulfill our own function of the press, all the dramas and shows will be replaced with news specials excluding special documentaries produced for the Day of the Disabled."


As a result, weekend drama 'Angel Eyes' and 'Good Day' have been postponed. 'Good Day' cancelled its production conference on April 17 due to the ferry tragedy and postponed to April 26.


Saturday variety shows including 'Star Junior Show Fish Bread', 'Star King', 'Running Man', and 'Roommate' have been cancelled as well.
