TV channels cancel Friday entertainment shows due to ferry tragedy

Korea's three terrestrial broadcasting companies confirmed to cancel their Friday entertainment shows to show condolences from Sewol ferry accident.


On April 18, KBS, MBC, and SBS cancelled the broadcast of Friday entertainment shows and replaced them with news special instead.


KBS 2TV cancelled the broadcast of 'Music Bank', 'Full House', Love and War', and 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'.


MBC cancelled entertainment shows 'Four Sons and One Daughter', and 'I Live Alone' as well as drams 'Mother's Garden', and 'Shining Romance'.


SBS cancelled 'Laws of the Jungle in Borneo'.
