Actor Lee Jong-suk apologized and explained his cold behavior toward a fan at the airport.

On March 28, Lee Jong-suk posted a letter of apology on his official fan site.

He said, "I just finished my schedule so I'm not realizing what happened. First of all, I'm so sorry for alarming everyone."

He continued, "I feel so sad because I feel this was in contradiction to what I've said and done so far. and I'm scared that what I do now will seem like a like."

"There's no room for excuses because what I did was completely wrong but I felt I needed to say something to my fans. Since I'm a main 'product' of our agency, there is some overprotection that I was actually concerned about, and there was some trouble while adjusting my schedule in Hong Kong."

He explained the situation saying, "I didn't see the fan and when someone pulled on my arm, I thought that of course it was my manager, and pulled my arm away. I never thought it was a fan. There were lots of reporters in front of me and I was so bewildered that I couldn't control my facial expression. I think it was a fan that I've never seen before, and I'm really really sorry. It was all my fault. I'll do better from now on."
