INFINITE's Hoya revealed why he had to change his birth name.


On the March 11th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Cool Kiz on the Block', the INFINITE members made a guest appearance for the Taekwondo edition.


When Kang Ho-dong jokingly asked Hoya, "We are Hoya and Ho-dong. Then is it Hoya-dong?" Hoya replied, "My birth name is Lee Ho-won but my birth name is changed."


Kang Ho-dong asked him, "What was your birth name before the change?" Hoya responded, "It was Lee Ho-dong. I changed because of Kang Ho-dong."


Hoya added, "When I was nine, friends used to make fun of my name because Kang Ho-dong used to play the role of a fool in 'Sonagi'. I cried everyday so my parents changed my name."
