President Lee Jae-myung will chair a second real estate policy review meeting on the 7th, a follow-up to the 7.5-hour real estate and stock market review meeting he held immediately after returning from his U.S.-South America trip on the 3rd. The meeting is expected to cover expanding housing supply, financial and fiscal support measures, and deregulation.

Chief Presidential Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung said in a notice on the 5th, "President Lee will chair the second real estate policy review meeting at the presidential office at 2 p.m. on the 7th." This meeting serves as a follow-up review to the first meeting President Lee chaired on the 3rd.

President Lee had gone straight to the presidential office immediately after returning from his U.S.-South America trip on the 3rd and chaired a real estate and stock market review meeting starting at 3 p.m. that day. The meeting ran for about 7.5 hours, until 10:30 p.m.

At that meeting, President Lee instructed officials to secure as much available housing supply as possible for swift delivery, and to review all available tools, including administrative measures, financial and fiscal support, and deregulation.

He also said, "Even if it's difficult, arrange additional reports on finance and housing supply and a follow-up review meeting within two to three days."

Meanwhile, Presidential Chief Policy Officer Kim Yong-beom held a working lunch with Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon that day to discuss housing supply measures for the greater Seoul area.
