Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun assessed on the 28th that "there is still a long way to go" regarding business in the Brazilian market.

At the Korea-Brazil business roundtable held in São Paulo, Brazil, on the same day, Chung responded to reporters' questions about the strong sales performance of automobiles in Brazil by saying, "There is still a long way to go. China is also pushing hard these days."

Hyundai Motor began production at its Brazilian factory in 1992 when it entered the market. Recently, it has maintained annual sales of around 200,000 units, ranking fourth in sales.
