DAPA to operate integrated Korean pavilion at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris
An integrated Korean pavilion will be up and running at Eurosatory 2026, a major defense exhibition held in Paris, France, from June 15 to 19 (local time).
The Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), alongside the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality (DTaQ) and the Korea Defense Industry Association (KDIA), announced that it will operate the joint national pavilion at the biennial event, widely recognized as the world's largest land defense exhibition.
Eurosatory is a premier global defense forum drawing over 2,000 participating companies, official delegations from some 90 countries, and more than 76,000 visitors. The exhibition is set to showcase cutting-edge defense technologies aligned with future battlefield environments, ranging from land weapon systems and aerospace defense to unmanned systems, command and control, cybersecurity, and crisis management systems.
Anchored by the slogan "Reliable, Affordable & Available Now!", the integrated pavilion aims to serve as a national promotional hub, introducing K-defense's exceptional technological prowess and product lineups—characterized by immediate availability, high reliability, and price competitiveness—to the global market, according to DAPA.
The pavilion is split into a government promotion hall and a corporate exhibition hall. The government section will highlight the evolutionary trajectory of South Korea's defense industry and outline the roles of key institutions like DAPA and DTaQ. Meanwhile, the corporate hall will present physical products, applied technologies, and export-ready portfolios from 12 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to foreign military officials and defense contractors.
A cluster of 21 South Korean defense firms will be stationed around the pavilion, including major systems integrators like Hanwha Aerospace, LIG D&A, and Hyundai Rotem, alongside materials, components, and equipment specialists such as Vitzrocell, MNC Solution, and i3system. The displays will span everything from complete weapon systems to subcomponents like sensors and surveillance gear, all aimed at unlocking new export channels and broadening cooperation with the European defense market.
In partnership with the local Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) trade office, the pavilion will also host match-making consultation sessions between foreign buyers and domestic defense suppliers to drive tangible export contracts and B2B networking.
Furthermore, a "Korea Day" event will be held during the exhibition as an interactive program designed to strategically leverage the global popularity of Korean culture to maximize promotional synergy for K-defense.
"The integrated Korean pavilion at Eurosatory 2026 serves as a strategic collaborative platform to demonstrate K-defense's competitive edge in the global arms market and to anchor domestic firms as they venture abroad," said Kim Tae-gon, Director General of the International Cooperation Bureau at DAPA. "We will remain fully committed to supporting our domestic contractors in expanding their export footprints and building international cooperation frameworks."
Following this event, DAPA and the KDIA plan to sustain their momentum by operating integrated national pavilions at the MSPO exhibition in Poland this September and the AUSA annual meeting in the United States this October, continuing their institutional backing to sharpen the global competitiveness of South Korean defense contractors.
