LS Electric will showcase next-generation power and automation solutions tailored for data centers at Data Center World 2026, as it accelerates expansion in the North American market.

The exhibition will be held from April 21 to 23 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. LS Electric plans to introduce a comprehensive portfolio of customized solutions designed specifically for data center operations.

Focus on DC-based power solutions

Key offerings include direct current (DC) solutions for data centers, UL-certified power distribution systems, power distribution units (PDU), and remote power panels (RPP).

On the automation side, the company will present high-efficiency inverters such as the H100 and compact SP100, both essential components for data center cooling systems.

Expanding presence in North America

LS Electric has recently secured supply contracts with global Big Tech companies for data center power infrastructure, signaling growing traction in North America. Orders from Big Tech data centers have already exceeded 500 billion won this year.

According to the International Energy Agency, global data center electricity consumption reached approximately 415 terawatt-hours (TWh) in 2024 and is expected to more than double to around 945 TWh by 2030.

Building a foothold with certifications

The company highlighted its early acquisition of UL certifications — a key requirement for entering the North American power distribution market — as a major competitive advantage. Over the past 12 years, LS Electric has secured around 300 UL certifications for switchboards and low- to medium-voltage power equipment.

An LS Electric official said, “The North American data center market is a key battleground where next-generation power infrastructure is being adopted most rapidly. Through this exhibition, we aim to establish a ‘DC first-mover’ brand image and accelerate global expansion by attracting Big Tech customers.”
