Mercedes-Benz supports ‘Grand Prince’s Wife’ production

Mercedes-Benz Korea provides 13 flagship vehicles, including Mercedes-AMG GT and Mercedes-AMG SL, for the MBC drama 21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife.

Mercedes-Benz Korea will provide a fleet of vehicles for the upcoming MBC Friday–Saturday drama 21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife, starring IU and Byeon Woo-seok.

According to the company on April 17, a total of 13 vehicles will be featured in the series, carefully selected to match the royal and chaebol family settings, as well as the personalities of the main characters.

The lineup includes five flagship sedans such as the Maybach and S-Class, three high-performance AMG models and roadsters, three electric vehicles and SUVs, and two coupes and mid-size sedans.

In the drama, Prince Ian (played by Byeon Woo-seok) will drive the Mercedes-AMG GT 55 4MATIC+, highlighting a dynamic and charismatic image. Meanwhile, Seong Hee-joo (played by IU) will appear with the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ and the Mercedes-Maybach S 680, emphasizing both elegance and strong presence. The Maybach S 680 will also serve as the royal ceremonial vehicle, while the Mercedes-Benz S 580 will be used as a security car.

Mercedes-Benz Korea has continued to showcase its signature luxury image by supporting major productions, including tvN dramas Queen of Tears and Love Next Door, JTBC’s Reborn Rich, and entertainment shows such as Earth Arcade and MBC’s Good Day.
