Crime action film Yadang: The Snitch, starring Kang Ha-neul, continued its strong box office run over the Golden Week holiday, becoming the highest-grossing Korean film of 2025 so far.

According to data from the Korean Film Council’s integrated ticketing system released on May 7, Yadang: The Snitch attracted 831,334 viewers from May 1 to 6, taking the top spot at the box office every day of the holiday period except for Children's Day on May 5.

The film’s cumulative attendance since its release on April 16 has now reached 2,673,134—surpassing the previous 2025 record held by Hitman 2, a comedy-action film starring Kwon Sang-woo, which drew 2,547,448 viewers since its January release.

Yadang: The Snitch has earned praise for its fast-paced depiction of shifting alliances between a drug broker, a prosecutor, and a detective. The film is directed by Hwang Byung-guk, known for Wedding Campaign and SIU, and features a cast that includes Kang Ha-neul, Yoo Hae-jin, and Park Hae-joon.

Meanwhile, The Holy Night: Demon Hunters, an occult action film starring Ma Dong-seok, and Ruin, a mystery action film starring Lee Hye-young, drew 520,845 and 193,430 viewers respectively during the same period. They ranked fourth and fifth behind Minecraft: The Movie (668,579 viewers) and Thunderbolts (545,407 viewers).
