Two highly anticipated Korean series—Dear Hongrang starring Lee Jae-wook and Jo Bo-ah, and Nine Puzzles featuring Son Suk-ku and Kim Da-mi—are set to premiere next month on Netflix and Disney+, respectively.
According to Netflix on April 17, Dear Hongrang, a mystery historical drama, will be released globally at 4 p.m. on May 16. Lee plays Hongrang, heir to a merchant group who reappears after being missing for 12 years, while Jo portrays his stepsister Jae-yi, who grows suspicious of him even as their bond deepens.
The series is based on the novel Hong Rang: The One Who Swallowed Gold and is directed by Kim Hong-sun, known for Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area, The Guest, and Voice.

Meanwhile, Nine Puzzles will be released on May 21 via Disney+. Directed by Yoon Jong-bin (Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time), the thriller follows profiler Yi-na (Kim Da-mi), the sole witness to an unsolved case from 10 years ago, and detective Han Saem (Son Suk-ku), who suspects her as the case resurfaces with a series of murders.
